Highland Lake Scouting And Testing My Under Water Camera

Went to test the new Nitro bass boat. and check my fav spots. I got to use my new under water camera and what a good investment hope this info helps. TAKE A KID FISHING

good show of fish on the fish finder and camera Catch

Water Type: freshwater
Type of Fish: Rainbow Trout
Bait Details: a good choice of bait for highland lake is shiners down about 13 feet with a weight to keep them down or nightcrawler allways work good too!!
Location Details: i did not fish due to it wasent opeaning day. i was up there with under water cameras and cool electronics and the lake is looking pretty good for opeaning day!!!

nice dropoff with med cover holding good bass Catch

Type of Fish: Smallmouth Bass
Bait Details: my bait of choice for deep bass fishing in this spot is bouncing crawdads off the bottom or carolina rigged pumpkin seed power bait worms
Location Details: Here there is a nice dropoff from 10 to 25ish feet holding some nice bass with med cover mostly of rock and a lil sunken tree branches. the under water camera showed about 12 fish i seen some of good size holding about half way up the drop off!!!

Type of Fish: Smallmouth Bass
Bait Details: spinner baits or buzz baits or small rapalas work very good here. live shiners hooked through the nose casted and retreved with a small split shot 6 inch in front of it works good too
Location Details: this spot has smaller bass here but more of them fun for the kids with a bobber and a shiner.
just be carefull of the rock if you go near shore this lake is rocky in spots. Take a kid fishing
