Cumberland/Lincoln Fishing Report

First Time Out

Took pre-fab rods out with my older son, JJ. We tried the Blackstone in Manville, but decided on Lincoln Woods instead. Not even a nibble, but we saw a few big'uns coming up every once in a while.

Report Catches

Blackstone River Bridge at Manville Catch

  • Water Type: freshwater
  • Type of Fish: Brook Trout
  • Location Details: Couldn't get in. Didn't feel it was appropriate to jump a private fence with my seven-year-old!

1st stop Catch

  • Water Type: freshwater
  • Type of Fish: Lake Trout
  • Location Details: Not even a nibble. Very shallow but an excellent shoreline.

2nd stop Catch

  • Water Type: freshwater
  • Type of Fish: Lake Trout
  • Location Details: Great little spot with deeper water, good standing room and some benches. Hoping for bites around a nearby island, but we got nothing.

Final stop Catch

  • Water Type: freshwater
  • Type of Fish: Lake Trout
  • Location Details: Nice little dock-ish setup with no boat launches. Some railing to provide a place to relax, but the best fun is up on rocks to the right of the parking area. No fish in sight, but it was a beautiful morning!
