Although the fish biomass is low in the lake due to low nutrient levels, the fish creeled are generally quite large. Its acid-stained waters contain largemouth bass, black crappie, chain pickerel, fliers, bluegill, warmouth, and yellow perch. Aquatic vegetation is very dense during the growing season; so, it's easiest to fish and boat the lake during winter or early spring.
